Eleven players and one coach fined for Week 14 violations

Ten players fined for on-field incidents

The NFL announced today that 11 players and one coach have been fined a total of $243,049 for violations of league rules during Week 14 games.

The largest fine of the week went to Los Angeles Chargers defensive end Joey Bosa, who was fined $26,757 for unnecessary roughness against Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Other players fined for on-field incidents include:

  • Jacksonville Jaguars defensive end Josh Allen ($15,914) for unnecessary roughness against Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill
  • Tennessee Titans defensive end Jeffery Simmons ($10,587) for roughing the passer against Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence
  • Arizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins ($10,527) for unnecessary roughness against New England Patriots cornerback Jalen Mills
  • li>Detroit Lions defensive end Aidan Hutchinson ($10,527) for unnecessary roughness against Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins
  • Indianapolis Colts cornerback Kenny Moore II ($8,911) for unnecessary roughness against Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams
  • Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Chandler Jones ($5,688) for roughing the passer against Colts quarterback Nick Foles
  • New York Jets defensive end Bryce Huff ($5,688) for roughing the passer against Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen
  • Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Diontae Johnson ($5,688) for unnecessary roughness against Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans ($3,281) for unnecessary roughness against San Francisco 49ers cornerback Charvarius Ward

One coach fined for sideline behavior

In addition to the player fines, one coach was also fined for sideline behavior.

Las Vegas Raiders coach Josh McDaniels was fined $25,000 for unsportsmanlike conduct during the team's game against the Colts.

Total fines for the season now over $2 million

The total fines for the season now stand at $2,044,005.
