Prior to tipoff, Carlisle School coach Greg Cormier announced that Coby Mayo would miss the game against Massanutten Military Academy due to a non-COVID illness. Mayo was not at practice on Saturday, per Cormier.

Mayo has missed 5 of 11 games this season

Mayo, a five-star recruit and Virginia Tech signee, has missed five of 11 games this season for Carlisle (6-5). He missed the first two games of the season due to a broken nose suffered in practice. He also missed a game in late December due to an ankle injury.
