Angels Minor League News: Reid Detmers is Bouncing Back in Triple-A

The Left-Handed Pitcher Has Struggled in the Majors This Year

After struggling in the Majors this year, Reid Detmers has been sent down to Triple-A. In six starts with the Salt Lake Bees, the left-handed pitcher has a 3.38 ERA, 1.03 WHIP, and 33 strikeouts in 29.1 innings pitched.

Detmers Has Been Working on His Mechanics

Detmers has been working on his mechanics with the Bees, and it's clearly paying off. He's throwing his fastball with more velocity and his changeup has been more effective.

It's still early, but Detmers is starting to show signs that he can be a successful Major League pitcher. He's a talented pitcher with a lot of potential, and he's still just 22 years old.

If Detmers can continue to pitch well in Triple-A, it's likely that he'll be called back up to the Majors soon. He's a valuable asset to the Angels, and they'll need him to be a part of their rotation in the future.
